Co-directed by Dr. Gregory Buncke and Dr. John Owsley, the Plastic Surgery Institute of San Francisco is partnered with The Buncke Clinic of San Francisco and San Mateo, an Institute established in 1970 and recognized worldwide for its specialty of Reconstructive and Microsurgery of the Hand. With extensive experience in microsurgery of the hand, reconstructive surgery, and facial and body plastic surgery, our plastic surgeons are experts in the field of aesthetic or cosmetic procedures. Our surgeons have diverse backgrounds that have collectively led them to revolutionize plastic surgery through the development of different techniques and approaches to surgical procedures that have been adapted worldwide.
Removing our fat without exercise. It once sounded too good to be true. Now science has given us new developments which help remove fat from localized parts of the body. Those love-handles, that spare-tire, the fat on your thighs, belly, underarms, they now can be zapped away. Fat removal is now no longer limited to invasive liposuction surgeries, with their high-risks and complications. We now have non-invasive treatments which can use lasers, mechanical massage, radiofrequency or ultrasound, sometimes in combination, to treat and remove fat through the skin. Other procedures are minimally-invasive, which means they involve much less trauma to the treatment area than a traditional liposuction surgery. These treatments remove fat through smaller incisions, with less downtime.
To best understand your treatment goals and objectives, it’s advisable to contact a physician and schedule an in-person consultation to discuss your fat removal needs. It is very difficult to know what you may or may not be suitable for over the phone. Information such as price and results cannot be clearly determine over the phone so you may need to go in for a consultation to fully understand your needs and what it may cost to achieve them. Call today for a consultation.

These specialized procedures are performed by Board Certified plastic surgeons in our office’s private surgical facility. We specialize in cosmetic surgery procedures such as a facelift, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), fore head lift, endoscopic brow lift, chin and cheek implants, nose job (rhinoplasty), ear pinning (otoplasty), scar revision, breast augmentation, reconstruction, or reduction, tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), liposuction (lipo), arm lifts, and thigh lifts.
In addition to the surgical practice at the Plastic Surgery Institute of San Francisco that focuses on procedures such as facelifts, lipo, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and so forth, we also have a less-invasive practice dedicated to Botox, injectable fillers, facials, peels, and microdermabrasions. With a certified aesthetician on staff, patients are able to have relaxing and rejuvenating facials while using our in-house product Face Forward by Dr. John Owsley which leaves them feeling refreshed.
